HOUSTON AMATEUR MOBILE SOCIETY (H.A.M.S.) :

Our purpose is to operate various radio repeaters along the Houston Gulf Coast to be used by licensed Amateur Radio Operators, to aid in emergency communications, to promote fraternalism and friendship among members and to advance the goodwill, the general interests and the welfare of Amateur Radio in the community.

HAMS has been an local ham radio club in the Houston and surrounding area since February 24, 1987.

We now have Echolink on the 145.110 and 146.980 repeaters. You can now connect to these repeaters from the internet!
